The integrated ciruit was developed and produced in the fifties and sixties, with IBM a big player. The integrated ciruits were contained in a layered "wafer". The transistors, resistors, capacitors were components of the integrated circuit. Here is a good article on the subject.

So I am gone all day and I still get blamed for the Mach2 show disapperance. I have already said I'm sorry and tried to suck up to Mach2, dont know if it done any good or not. But atleast I tried. I figured he would atleast flame me for ruining the show.....lol
