I don't really know, but I would guess a Sinclair.

It was an Altair 8800
Story goes that they were shipping one to Popular Science magazine for that infamouse picture on the cover. It got lost in the mail. The one that appeared on the cover of the mag is nothing more than an empty box
The community college here still has one. It works too!
