    Friday Night Trivia #2

Maxximilian nailed the mouse and GUI question dead on. Shoot, I thought I might have at least someone scratching their heads!

    Ok heres another

We ship computers via the mail and other carriers like UPS etc all the time now. Its commonplace

The first computer ever shipped in the mail was lost in the mail

    What was it?

I don't really know, but I would guess a Sinclair.
Here's a hot one. Who is the Countess of Lovelace, and what was her collaboration in the computer world. Makes good reading.

You almost made me blow the dust off of my old computer books but I found this instead http://www.dcs.port.ac.uk/~lesterc/ada/Ada-Augusta.html
This is who the programming language ADA is named after

So, what was the name of the first computer lost in the mail?

stylin19 & Bubba are both right
    It was an Altair 8800

Story goes that they were shipping one to Popular Science magazine for that infamouse picture on the cover. It got lost in the mail. The one that appeared on the cover of the mag is nothing more than an empty box

The community college here still has one. It works too!
