internet explorer toolbars missing .....
hi,
somehow all toolbars (including drop -down menus) of my internet explorer have disappeared. how do i get them back.
thank you.

Have you tried right clicking the menu/toolbar area of IE and checking there the Standard Buttons option?

Well, just in case, left click on View (menu) > Toolbars then select the toolbars of your choice

devang29--If the above suggestions do not work, have you tried moving your cursor up to area just below the title bar (or actually across the dividing line where it begins)? If it turns to a double-headed arrow, click and drag down. That may put your bars back into place.

i cant do any of the stuff suggested because i dont see the dropdown menus..

would reinstalling to a higher version help?

Have you tried hitting F11 on you keyboard when iexplorer is running?

Is there anything showing at the top of the browser frame? A title? Icons?

Have you tried IE repair?
Find 'Add/Remove' on your computer (the path to it differs depending on your Windows version)
Double-click 'Microsoft Internet Explorer [version #] and Internet Tools'
Choose the Repair Internet Explorer option
Click OK.
If that doesn't work, you may need to reinstall IE.

missing DLL
I think you may be missing the C:\windows\system\browselc.dll.
I had the same problem and adding that DLL fixed it.
