Hi there,
This is a common problem when you have visited undersirable sites - somewhere the site has imposed itself as your home page - not really a problem to correct though.
In IE - select the tools tab and then the Internet options tab - this will open up all sorts of options to you. The one you want is the very first item - just replace the address of your home page with a more acceptable site and there you go, so long as you click on the apply button the problem should go away - until you visit another undesirable site that is!

Another idea may be to organise your favourites and make sure the 'problem site' is deleted.
