    Replacing characters with html refs/entities

    I seem to remember a web site where you could paste text and have it replaced by the corresponding html ref code

    ie instead of a web page containing

    mailto:[email protected] (and thus open to spammer harvesting)

    you would replace this by

    &#109&#097&#105&#108&#116&#111&#058&#097&#064&#098&#046&#099&#111&#109

    Obviously can be done by hand , but the web site was a lot quicker!!

    Any one have the link ?
