ActiveX doesn't let me download!

I have a question regarding ActveX security settings! I recently went through my entire system trying to ferret out ANOTHER problem...NOW, I am unable to download some sites...I get a message saying that because of the security settings I have on my ActiveX I can't download this site or it won't come out correctly!

Is there any way I can get ActiveX security settings changed back to the way they were BEFORE I reloaded Win 95???

I guess you are using IE 4.0 or 5.x
Go to Internet Options and then Security.
Go to Custom Level, and ajust your ActiveX settings there.

You can Disable or Enable them there.

That was the first thing I did when I got up and running. For SOME reason though it doesn't let me access the site for the download! I'm afraid to start messing with the program much deeper. I don't want to create MORE problems for myself! I'm trying to sort through any glitches since rebuilding.

Any other ideas??? Could it be a problem with the SITE??? The one I'm trying to download from??? ActiveX let me download Microsoft updates for Win. 95!!!
