That was a great read! I want to grow up to be just like Mr. GRC.
I can easily understand the problems that XP and 2000 could create. At the same time I find it hilarious that MS is getting yelled at because it put out a product that isn't nutered. You can't have it both ways you know.
Now I think that I will go out and get drunk tonight before I turn into a total geek. I'm 23 and understood every bit of that analysis. It didn't even give me a headache.

I read that they day it came out. I had heard about the attacks against Steve elsewhere, and knowing his brainpower, I couldn't wait for a public response.
Truly scary, but some of it is kinda funny. If you've ever been on IRC (more specifically, the l33t h4X0r ones) you'll start to think twice about downloading and installing rpm's willy nilly and opening that email.
The part that really gets me is the number of clueless people roaming the net. An up to date AV program and some sort of firewalling should be mandatory on every computer. I know that not all the popular windows personal firewall software is effective, but better safe than sorry.
