    memory

    Can anyone tell me how can I tell how much ram is on the computer with no OS installed.

    Absolutely. Almost all PC's "count up" when they are powered on. This is independent of any operating system. Another way is to power up and go into your bios setup. There is bound to be an entry as to the amount of RAM installed.
