Loading CD ROM DRIVER
I am currently building my first computer and have DOS 6.22 loaded. The CD Rom is installed, but I do not have a driver and I am also not sure how to get the driver loaded. Can you guys tell me where I can find the CD driver for a Compaq Armada 4131T. And also How can I get the driver running in DOS so I can load Win 98. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there Saturn,
Couple ideas: If you have access to a Win98 bootdisk it will have cdrom support.
Go to www.driverguide.com and find your hardware and download the driver. They will also give you a link to Compaq.
The username for that site is:drivers and the password is:all.
Good Luck,
Dave
