    Lotus

    I was looking through my old cd's and I came accross Lotus Smartsuit for Windows 3.0 This is a demonstration and evaluation copy
    If there is any one in the UK who want this disk, send me an email at [email protected] First to mail will get it as all I will do with the disk if there are no takers is to bin it or use it as a coaster like I use all of the free AOL disks that keep droping through my letterbox I will even pay the postage, hense UK only

    Ami Pro is one KILLER word processor/desktop publisher.
    I still use it to this day.

    I agree with you about AMI PRO,
    However at this time, and for what reason I do not know but my Disk #6. is corrupt. I tried to fix it in DOS and I think I made it worse. Do you know of anyway to obtain just that one disk? Or,if I remember correctly, I just need the file off the disk that designates it as 'disk #6' Because when I was prompted to put in disk 6 I was prompted that it was the incorrect disk. I noticed that all 6 disks had a file at the beginning of the file list with the disk number on it. I believe that is the file that went bad. I tried to copy the file from disk No.5 and rename it for disk 6 but that did not work.
    Any help would as usual be appreciated.

    The thing I really like about it is that Ami Pro did things 8 years ago that programs like Word or Word Perfect cant do now.
    Talk about ease of use and power!
    It was Windows very first native word processor. Its always been a Windows word processor, not a Mac or DOS port over like the rest are.
