Windows 95 files deleted, DOS is only OS, how do I get Win95 back
My husband deleted my Win 95 files and my CDROM files, used undelete in DOS but I do not know how to get Win 95 back. I can see the files in DOS, but do not know the commands to get Win 95 back. I am also unable to use my a drive as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Howdy
your windoze startup disk, this should
setup your cdrom drivers.
put windoze95 cd in your cdrom and your startup disk(floppy) in A:drive and boot the computer. This should start you on your way too installing windoze95.
Hope this helps

When your husband deleted all those files, was he messing around inside the computer or with the CMOS settings? If so, he may have disabled access to the A: drive.
Check your CMOS settings for any references to Drive A access and check inside the computer to see if your floppy drive is connected properly
