    Dos 6.22 boot disk

I have an older 386 thinkpad that has been re-formatted. My problem is that I have Dos 6.22 on floppies but it was copied from other disks and doesn't boot up when I use the first disk. I run Win 98 on my comp so I can't make a system boot disk from here. Any suggestions? I don't know anyone around here that still has older dos on their systems. My only other alternative is to use Win95 from floppies. I have it on cd rom but the .cab files are all 1.7 mgs. HELP!!!

    Hi,

I think you are wrong about not be able to use Win 98 system disk. Make boot disk from Win98, boot from it and then run Setup from the 1st disk of DOS 6.22. I think it must work. Just give it a try.

    Good luck, Igor M
