Virtual PC- installing new programs
I have not been able to install either VoiceXpress Standard or Driver's Education on my iMac. The install shield wizard does its thing to setup, then the whole system gets incredibly sluggish, and it takes forever to get it to shut down. Once restarted, it is back to regular speed, but no new program, as the install never completes.
I'm running VPC 1.0.1, on a 233 mhz G3 processer. Also, VPC is not recognizing my built in CD drive now. Blah! The message says the FShare32.VxD hasn't loaded and it needs to be updated. Where can I find this? I've ordered the upgrade and hope that it helps, but a pox on those windows people! Darned monopoly mentality- we wouldn't have to mess with this junk at all if the market were truly open.
