background image
the background that appears with the macintosh is behind an image someone paste or inserted. I want to erase that image (is a photo) so the original background appears. Does anybody knows how to do this???

First you can try to change the background. If the background changes and the picture doesn't disappear then there is a third-party program that is layering that image on top of the desktop. In this case you would need to do some sleuthing around in the control-panels and maybe even the extensions to turn off that third-party program. However, if you change the background and the picture goes away then there is nothing you can practically do to remove it from that particular background. Except, of course, finding another background of your liking.
