How do i back up my XP updates??
Hi,
I read a while ago that its possible to backup the Updates that Xp Gets off the net.
Its seems a good idea to me, as you can never predict that 'worst case scenario', where you reinstall and then have to download all updates again.....
Any idea where these files reside?
Thanks for your help.

You'll have to download them again in order to save 'em:

And they actually reside in the Add/Remove programs list. I was surprised to find them there, but apparently Microsoft has finally figured out that some updates cause problems.

Use this link ... You can download them to a certain folder for backup purposes and install then at your leisure ......
