Blue File Names

My new computer running XP is 3 months old. More and more file names are shown in blue. The older the machine becomes, the more blue files I see. Does anyone know why these file names are changing from black to blue? Are they files that have been compressed using the disk clean up program?

Yup. Compressed files and folders will show up blue. Windows Updates are also stored compressed, so you'll see more and more blue folders in your Windows directory.
