General solution for Windows XP/nVidia infinite loop/BSOD bug?
Hi,
many of us have encountered it (e.g. read here).
I myself had to change memory timing to slower values, decrease AGP transfer rate to 2x, and install Detonators 21.81 to get my system stable again.
Have you also had that problem? Is there already a generic solution, or will there be one (XP Patch, new Detonator driver ...)? What do you think?

This falls under the heading of "Voodoo" solutions so don't flame me if you take exception but ... Try disabling the nvsvc32.exe (NVIDIA Driver Helper) service. I have had no infinite loop lockups (and quicker shutdown times!) since disabling it. I couldn't discern any difference with it on our off. Anyone know it's function?
