    steved,
Moved up from AOL 6 to AOL6 XP compatable version as normal AOL6 is not compatable. You will probably find you will not be able to open web pages etc plus you will probably loose your address book.
Moved up to AOL 6 XP compatable version but still had problems with address book and threads on forum pages (couldn't be viewed).
Have recently moved up again to AOL7 problem with this is they would only give me one 0800 number to dial up for connection which was constantly engaged or when I did get connected was then cut off. Eventually got hold of one of the supervisors at AOL and managed to get a few more 0800 numbers from him. Works fine now, can open web pages, view threads and my address book is back.
Here's a very useful site if you have AOL problems I often pop into it to check out what is going on and hopefully help out with some problem solving. http://www.m-reid.co.uk/aol

Give it a go. The web site is owned by Mark and he is very helpful.

    good luck
