    triple booting

    I have 98se and xp pro setup on my main machine and want to add winME to the setup for a project I am running on another site.....I need to know if I boot to xp and then do the me setup will it add itself to the boot loader without any problems

    can't do it that way. You will have to creat a partion.Im not totally sure but u may have a problem having win98 and winme installed at the same time cause both of them wante to be on the first partion.I'm wrong about this please correct me.

    I already have an empty partition...I just want to know if I boot to xp and then do the install with a custom install pointing to my g drive it will install correctly and add itself to my boot.ini file.

    Hi, to be able to do it that way "i'm quite sure" u need to use a 3rd party boot manager program... 9X needs an active partition to boot from otherwise as standard...
