    cant get toca 2 to work with windows 2000 and savage 4 (pro savage)

    Toca Touring cars 2

    when i click play it goes into setup where it says choose display device
    which says S3 Graphics ProSavage + utilities

    and calibrate controller.

    i have install the patch and everything but i still wont work

    yes yes i know it is old but i like some old games.

    it works with windows 98.

    If it depends on DOS being the underlying OS then it will not work in NT4 or NT5 or XP. There is no DOS. The basic (underlying OS) is completely different.

    toca 2 does not need dos mode as i can get it to work with windows millenium and i am sure i have played it on windows 2000 before with a voodoo3 agp

    Just because you cannot boot to pure dos in windowsMe does not mean it is not based on the DOS operating system....nt4.0 5.0 and xp are not based on dos they are based on the NT kernel....therefore programs that rely on dos will not play...but since ME is still based on the 9x kernel most dos based games will still play.
