For Limerick
Hey its been a while since we spoke last (I was trying to get ICS working in WinME with a dial up) Have since moved to cable modem and have just installed Win2k I usually do all of the windows updates but I seem to recall problems with the SP2. I know you have 2k on a couple machines..what do you suggest.

Hi Sarrkazztic,
Yes, it's been a while since we've swapped any electrons on here. I'm currently running only one Win2K machine, have SP2 on it, and am having no problems at all. I'm also on cable (for about a year now), and am enjoying the heck out of it!
Happy computing!

Do you use Norton SystemWorks? If so what version are you Using. I currently have the 2000 and 2001 version neither of which worked very well under my WinME installation but I would be curious to see how they work under 2K. When I set this up I chose the NTFS partition instead of FAT32 as an experiment. Do know of any issues this may cause for me

Sar, PC World (Aug. 2001, page 111) reports that Norton WinDoctor does not work right in W2K if you have MS Office 2000 installed. They do give most of the rest of SystemWorks good marks except they say Disk Defrag. continually tries to restart, much like Windows Defrag does if you have anything else running.
