Poor graphic representation
WinNT 4 with sp5, IBM NetVista 1gig 128RAM Nvidia tnt 8MB card (new) to try and solve problem. Was previously running a Cornerstone 4MB card.
Main resolution is perfect, 1280, 1024, 800, etc.
21 inch Viewsonic G810 (new).
In his work he opens image maps and documents that show the text as very ragged and the map lines as very irregular (my only descriptive terms I can think of). Has anyone got an idea as to the cause?

First of all, with a screen that large, a 32mb card would do much better. Looks to me like the application isn't even using the card for rendering the map, but is using the software, which most likely is trying to render some sort of detailed, 3d map(?) The TNT chipset should be OpenGL and Direct3D compatible, I know my 32mb TNT card is...hopefully the software is. I would suggest going to www.nvidia.com and downloading the latest "Detonator" drivers. I would also suggest downloading DirectX8 just in case the card is trying to use DirectDraw to render. Hope this helps....
