upgrade woes..
Hi folks.
I am upgrading an old win98 server with IDE HD and celeron power to a P3-500, dual 18 gig SCSI HD's and an adaptec 2940 scsi card. Installed the P3 and the HD's. Set the card up and ran the cable. set up to boot from cdrom for the NT server disc start. computer boots up but doesn't initially see the HD's (which are set to auto detect in the BIOS. scsi controller is found, scsi 0 and 1 are found (the new hard drives) then the install begins til it asks for the storage device software.
Am I missing a setting in the cmos? Or somewhere else. Thanks for any answers or help.

On the floppy that has drivers for your SCSI you can find readme for NT.
It probably will tell you to press F3 on "detecting hardware" screen and install the drive for scsi, if not you need specify additional storage device and install the driver for scsi
