CD ROM only available in Winnt & not win95

I configured my pc for dos, winnt, win95. PC works fine, however, only NT can access and recognise CD Drive. Win95 doesn't.
What do I do?
Thanks

for Win95 and Dos you have to load cd/rom driver in config.sys and autoexec.bat
You probably have driver that came with CD-ROM, if not post what make is it.

Download Win95 Bootdisk from http://www.drd.dyndns.org/disks/images/wboot95a.exe
boot up from the disk and see if your CD is working.
if it is working, copy mscdex.exe and cd-rom driver (cd1.sys)to c:\cdrom
edit autoexec.bat and add line there:
c:\cdrom\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD0001 /L:X
(X - CD-rom drive letter, you may use D or E)
edit config.sys and add there:
DEVICE=c:\cdrom\cd1.SYS /D:MSCD0001
