background processes in Win 98/NT
Hi,
Could anyone please tell me how to make a process run in the background in Windows 98/NT .
I want to make a program start automatically when windows is started and run in the background .
When the machine is shut down the program should pop up a gui to the user before he shus down the machine

what kind of a program do you want to run and which os do you use?

place a short cut in the start up directory in your Profile.
for Win98 its
Start Menu Setting Task menu Start menu Program advance
select >START MENU Programs STARTUP
WIN NT is the same I beleive
A+ MCSE (just got it)
