How to Boot NT4 to Dos?

I'm working thru the NT Server Enterprise Textbook and setting up a mini network of two systems; one with NT Server, the other with NT Server and NT Workstation.

I have NT Server installed on both. Now the book says to Boot one of the systems to Dos and install NT Workstation for a dual-boot system.

My question is how do i boot to Dos and still have access to my cdrom?

    thanx

You'll need a bootable floppy containing CD-ROM drivers. If your CD-ROM is ATAPI-compliant, an easy way to create the disk is to use Win98 and create a startup disk, as it will make a bootable floppy with CD support. Otherwise, you'd have to find generic ATAPI drivers and load them through CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT using a regular bootable floppy.

This is what the books and tests never tell you...
Change your bios to BOOT from CDROM.
Put the NTSERVER or Workstation CD in the cdrom then turn on your computer. Hit F6 to load scsi devices.
