    Hidden Console

    I get the following error message every time
    the workstation (Windows NT) is turned on - can anyone help me?

    Hidden Console of WOW VDM

    The NTVDM CPU has encounter
    an illegal instruction

    It sounds like the virtual device manager that runs DOS applications under NT is broken. I'd first check to see if there's anything in the StartUp menu loading and remove it if it's dos based. You could probably check your RAM by swapping the simms to see if it's a problem with them. If you swap them around and it's a bad simm, the problem will occur at a different spot. From there... you'll probably end up reinstalling the OS and applying the service packs.
