i assume i am having problems with proxy cause i can't get on line. i can get on the network and see other computers, and access internet explorer online, BUT when i access my mail or netscape it say "can't find host" i have TCP IP and DCHP installed and running, but still won't let me online. i even checked my admin rights and settings. what could it possibly be???
Thank you for you time and info.

Proxy server is pertty easy to set up. Are you unable to access the net from your server or a client? Either way you'll need to tell the browser to use a proxy server. Obviously you'll need to tell proxy server which connection to dial up, when it can dial, etc, but that's all obvious stuff. I suggest you re-post with some more specific info.
Server:
Gateway PEntium III 600
320mb ram
20GB HW mirrored disk
NT 4.0 SP6a
ISDN hookup via router

What email program are you using? Have you set the user profile up correctly? Are you sure the mail server's address you have to specify is correct? That's where I'd start looking.
