Ad-aware 5.8 released today!!
Ad-aware 5.8 This update uses a new referencefile format, please read here for the details
Included with this update is a new referencefile 005-29-04-02 with the following new targets: OpenMe.exe,recent GoHip version,Network-Essentials,DownloadWare, ImiServers IEPlugin and additional browser hijackers. Here's the download link.

Does adaware stop WWW.LOP.COM, i've seen this site take over the internet settings like a weed, it's scary.

Nemisis010, I don't believe it does at the present time. The link below has good info on lop.com and how to deal with it.

It does remove LOP, at least it did on my machine yesterday.

I hope the download for the Plus is in the mail, I have a heck of a time getting my download , things must really clog up when they issue a new update. Good program tho. Last update we received our email notices before the update was issued.

"Ad-aware Plus users are instructed to use their username, password and link received in the announcement email for version 5.71.
You will still be receiving your email notification as normal."

Thanks to discogail for the information on Plus users. Got on the site in a jiffy and downloaded fairly fast , to my suprise, I usually have a very slow download.

quickshot....could you email me the link for the plus version...have my login name and password but not the link as I only purchased the plus version last week which was the 5.71 version so never received an email with that link from lavasoft.....all I got was the info from element5 which handles their online purchases...tried that and dl'ed the same 5.71 version I had....would be greatly appreciated...have emailed lavasoft but so far have received no reply....
