At this point I recommend contacting your Internet service provider (ISP) for advice, this is a RARE problem and can COMMONLY be corrected by contacting your ISP...
It is a coincidence (it coincides with the upgrade), that your ISP is sending 2 emails to you, in reality the problem is HOST based, not CLIENT (you) ie your ISP (although coincident with the upgrade), not leading to conclusion it has NOTHING to do with it.
MOST ISP`s can handle the Upgrade(?).
On a more serious note, what on Earth did you expect from an "Upgrade" some Magic wand, to wave at your friends and enemies, maybe mystify and control them Get REAL, what is an UPGRADE?...Really!.

I didn't say I expected anything from an upgrade....I asked a simple question...
How you draw such conclusions from my question as to my expectations is beyond me.

lukeg - You have offered many helpful suggestions in the past; I know that you have helped me. Please remember that everyone who reads these boards may not be familiar with, shall we say, "your style," and might misunderstand.
piknic - Sorry I can't be of any help on this one. I'm using 5.01 myself.

'e's from OZ, mate!
I've had some issues with my OE, too but mostly a massive slowing down due to my VD's and my "shields are up".
Are you using a firewall? What is your VirusDetector(s)?

In the opening of Lukeg's post "contacting ISP" was the answer to My problem a couple of times. I contacted my ISP after receiving doubles and they thanked me and within 2 hours the problem was solved on their end.
