what are these?
I have noticed for a long while that when I hit ctrl, alt, delete that I have two programs running I do not know what they are. One is Rnaap, the other is Dist.Com... anyone know what these are?

Carpenturr,
rnapp is to do with dial up networking. It will load if you make a connection. Don't think you need it loading at startup. I don't know what Dist.com is but I doubt you would do any harm by removing it from startup. Maybe someone else will come along and identify that for you.

Thanks Horatio, yes I do remember rnaapp has something to do with dial up net working now that you refresh my memory. I have never found what Dist.Com is though, hopefully someone will know what it is.

Here's a chart that shows startup stuff:
http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup...artup_full.htm
dist.com isn't on the list. Makes me wonder if it might be some type of sleazeware that somehow got added in.

Thats nice but it is difficult given the situation
1. Rnaap=Rnaapp
2. Dist.com...=?

Came up with this at Google,
http://www.edist.com/
Got several hits, you might want to take a look and see if anything rings a' bell for something you may have down/Ld'ed? Or,do a find file and type it in to see if it shows up anywhere on your drive...
