? about mass emailing viri

just a quick question...waas reading about the myparty virus/worm and was wondering if one gets hit by this or a similar scoundrel, is there anything in the sent file to tell you it has done its work?

I've read that it isn't worth it but what I've done is create a fictional e-mail address labeled 000! and that way if I should be infected and if the virus sends a message out to my entired address book, I'll at least get a message of delivery failure to my fictional address so I'll know it has occurred.
