Belarc Advisor patch
For all you folks out there that use Belarc Advisor and IE 5.5 sp2 or IE 6, you will need reg hack fix to allow the program to load in your browser correctly.
If you launch Belarc and get no "Your Profile" statement or cube (you user's no what I mean) see the small note and link at the bottom of the browser screen and download the mini 1K hack named msie5.5SP2_6.0.reg and double click it to install to the registry.
Belarc will work fine from then on. Just a heads up for those who like this tool.

griffinspc, thanks I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times because it quit working. I recently formatted my hard drive and wanted a list of my programs to sort through and really missed Belarc. I am glad to have it back.

I saw this post wayyyy to late. Belarc quit working on me a couple of weeks ago right around when i installed IE6. never realized how much i missed it. So i uninstalled and went to site only to discover the reg patch/hack available. Useful little utility this.

Yeah, I almost missed the reference to it on the page myself. I've used it for years and missed the heck out of it. Isn't it weird how addicted you can get to a simple program??

And all this time I thought I was the only one addicted to Belarc....

On the other hand...that is, if you have another hand.
