Oops,
nevermind.
Was too hasty to think the "-nosplash" that works with Netscape 6 would work here.
It doesn't.

Thanks guys and gal,
I don't need it anymore since I'll never put F-Prot on my machine again.
I was testing it for a friend and it took half a day to uninstall the stupid thing.
Using the un-ininstaller brought up 3 choices, add new modules, repair, and remove all modules. Clicking remove brought up a screen asking if I really wanted to remove F-Prot, I answered YES and after 2 seconds of a flashing time line I got the message "Maintenance has been performed".
That's it, no removal of any part of F-Prot. This was true if you used the add/remove or the uninstal.exe in the program file. I tried reinstalling over the original to see if I could get some options, no install allowed.
I finally had to manually delete the program group then the start group then the registry entries and finally closed my door and cursed it to no end.
PS: It took them 3 days to send me the supposed necessary setup directions even though they say on their web site it will be within a few minutes.
Also if you do the standard, non custom installation you get no right click fuctions in the explorer as well as no setting adjustments for e-mail. My friend asked me to install it this way as he would install it to his business stations like this. If you install it as custom you do get these options but I couldn't, once installed as standard, go back and add them. What a piece of junk. I'm going back to InoculateIT ASAP.
