I was also thinking that.
So what do you think the problem could be?
i tell you the problem.
at first the computer had come in for repair because a women had just bought it back from the usa and it had be damaged (dropped or something)in transit and the hard disk was dying, So i decided to GHOST an image of her hdd before i went any further. it took about an hour because of the damaged areas of her hard disk. the women then asked if she could have a replacement hard disk fitted so i did this and put her image on the new disk.
now the computer takes about 15 mins to boot and i dont know why. it was also doing this before it came in.
i have reinstalled windows twice.
and i have clean installed windows on another hard disk with drivers etc.. installed so this seems to me to be software related and not hardware.
interested in what you guys think
thanx Mike
