CD-RW Installation question
I have the following..
IDE 0 Master: HDD
IDE O Slave : blank
IDE 1 Master : CD-ROM
IDE 1 Slave : Zip 250
Should I connect the CD-RW on the IDE 0 slave, or should I rearrange the whole setup?
I hear you should not have a CD-ROM and CD-RW on the same IDE channel.

When installing a CDRW recently, the guide (yes I read it, but don't tell anyone!) highly recommend that the RW be a master by itself.
I'd rearrange so at least if a problem crops up you have already eliminated one possible issue.

I too would set it up:
IDE 0 Master: HDD
IDE O Slave : CD-ROM
IDE 1 Master : CD-RW
IDE 1 Slave : Zip 250
Most of your CD writing will be from the HD to the CDR/ZIP or from the CD to the CDR (copying) may as well admit the obvious use. This will provide for the fastest communication.
