[RESOLVED] Windows 11 + TurboTax .. BIG Problem......
My wife was trying to install TurboTax for 2023 & ran into a snag. She asked for help & I have not been successful in resolving the issue.
When trying to install the CD, I get this message: SETUP.EXE-SYSTEM ERROR...THE CODE EXECUTION CANNOT PROCEED BECAUSE MSVP140.DLL WAS NOT FOUND. REINSTALLING THE PROGRAM MAY FIX THE PROBLEM. ???
I have removed any old version of TurboTax from her computer, cleared TurboTax from the registry, checked for any updates, ran CCleaner a few times, searched the web for answers, all to no avail.
I tried to do a "sfc scannow via the CMD prompt, but it wont allow, cuz I don't have admininster rights. Been at it for over 3 hours. Figured it's time for help. Please!! Thanks much!!!

Perhaps there's a solution here:

There are a few different suggestions, one of them being to download the install file rather than using the CD.

Cont...... I was able to figure out the admin. privilege thing. I ran the sfc scannow & it found corrupt files & fixed, but it did not resolve the
installing of the TURBOTAX issue.............

You may need to install or reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Run Time software.
