Disconnecting Microsoft office

Which step on which instructions link are you getting the "verify your account" message on? That should not appear when you are just getting rid of the annoying Microsoft request to set up things that you do not want. Which method are you using? You could try the Registry key method.

When I click on the Search field, I get this:

And when I hover over the C, I see my old work email address.
