Microsoft 'Confirms' Windows 10 Has Seriously Nasty Surprise

Right now Windows 10 is undergoing a massive upgrade to the so-called ‘Creators Update’. But suddenly Microsoft MSFT -0.13% has confirmed millions of Windows 10 users will never get it…

Yep. I'm one of those "millions". My ASUS tablet has a Clover Trail Atom processor and isn't eligible for that newest OS update. I will still get security updates though so I can still use it safely (they weren't originally going to even do that until they got lots of complaints).

To be honest though, in my case I don't use the tablet very often and don't even really like it that much so I'm not particularly upset about the whole thing but I'd imagine most people are a little perturbed after being more or less forced (thanks GWX) or at least cajoled into upgrading to Win 10 from Windows 8/8.1 and are now being told that they aren't going to be allowed to continue to get the newest versions/updates/upgrades for 10.
