[RESOLVED] OE; Reply All
What ho one and all,
I am the Neighbourhood Watch coordinator for my road and as such, have around 50 e-mail addresses on the list. I send a flyer every week, the first on the list is To and the remaining are BCC.
A neighbour has just contacted me as he found a lost dog and has sent an e-mail to (hopefully) all 50 addresses, using Reply All.
Will this go to all 50 addresses? I suspect not. In which case, is it possible for him to send to everyone or not?
Toodle pip and thanks
Rex

Reply All will send to the Sender (you in this case) and the CC recipients, but not the BCC recipients of the original message. If it could send to the BCC recipients, then BCC would not be BCC.
The simple fix is for you (the coordinator) to forward the message to everyone else, using the BCC for the other recipients. Then everyone can get the message and still maintain privacy.

Thanks; that is pretty much what I thought. Sometimes, someone in the road thinks they will send a message to all and sundry, hits 'reply all' and I am the only one that receives the message. But it is better that I send stuff BCC; I feel that is more diplomatic.
