pop up on best buy
Best Buy, every time i go to their site and search for an item after you select an item, their is a pop up "would you like to share this site"
Fire Fox under google says to create a new tab and do the following, but i can't make it work, it's annoying..

- In Firefox's address/location bar. type in
about:config
and press [Enter].
- Click the "I'll be careful, I promise! button.
- Press [Ctrl][F]. type in
geo.enabled
then double-click that "geo.enabled" line to toggle it from "True" to "False" (or vice-versa).

The Configuration Editor (about:config page) lists Firefox settings known as preferences that are read from the prefs.js and user.js files in the Firefox profile and from application defaults. Many of these preferences are advanced settings that are not present in the Options dialog. This article describes how to use the about:config page to view, change, or reset Firefox preference settings, if you need to do so.

Is there need to inventory those items when you open about:config? Sometime in the address bar there will be more selections than you need,"in the drop down", can you control those some how with this also?

Sometimes the selection offer in the "drop down" are what you want, just click it and hit enter for it to open.

That's up to you. You can always reset Firefox to reset the about:config.

I think you mean Autocomplete in Addressbar:
1. Open Firefox
2. Type about:config in the address bar, press enter
3. Double-click Browser.urlbar.maxRichResults
4. Set value to # (Default = 12, Disabled = 0)
You could change it to like 5 if 12 is too many.

Probably. "geo" is referring to your geographic location, as in latitude (degrees north or south of the equator) and longitude (degrees east or west of the prime meridian).
