    Which Mozilla product are you talking about? Firefox? If so, which version?

    Do you mean /options/advanced/NETWORK/connections/settings?
    You would need to find out if your network uses a proxy or not. Most people don't have that at home, so you would use No proxy.

    use system proxy settings is checked /FF/ 45.0.1

    where else would you find those setting?

    That is the default. It'll look at the IE proxy settings.

    Why are you messing around with that anyway? You shouldn't have to touch those settings.

    You're asking what should be checked. You shouldn't have to touch those settings at all, which is why I asked.

    most of the places here says not to check any proxy "not even system", it's checked on both mine, i didn't put it there

    Like I said, you can choose No Proxy. The default is use System Proxy Settings. If you didn't set a proxy in IE, then FF wouldn't use a proxy either. It really doesn't matter that much either way. If your Internet connection is working, don't worry about it.
