Well as you say there's a chance I may just give it a shot again, I have nothiing to lose--I backup, remove the main drive, install the SSD and try the image backup/restore. If things go blooy I re-install the main drie and I'm back where I was. Thanks for that link!!!!!. Got no software with the SSD, It will probably be a while but if I ever get this working I will lrt you know.
