Hello all, got a problem with "folders in the Latest Internet explorer."

In Favourites, try to remove 3 folders I created for some information I wished to keep, but now want to Remove, when I try to remove, I.E. closes to desktop.

Any ideas how to sort this??

What OS/bit and which version of IE are you using?

Assuming you're using Win7 or higher, why don't you just edit the folders directly?
C:\Users\[username]\Favorites

Hello Midknyte and all, using Windows 10 latest windows. I.E. Browser- Microsoft edge 20.10240.16384.0



In Favourites I Have in order Favourites Bar then Favourites Then 3 website addresses that I can click on and open, or delete etc. then underneath them I Have 3 Folders which cannot be Deleted at all, they can be moved. I have tried C:\Users\[username]\Favourites The 3 Folders Do not Show at all there??

Any other way of getting rid of them??

Internet Explorer and Edge are two completely different browsers.

Like jdc2000 said, IE and Edge are two completely different things. That's why you need to provide the OS and app version from the start.

Hello Midknte, JDC2000, I know how to add and remove in edge normally, but do not know how to remove ones that do not want to be removed. Not going to remove ALL my Favs etc just to remove 3 un-removable folders, will just hide them. Thanks for your help, Gep

Can you drag and drop into Recycle Bin?

You don't have to delete everything, you can try just deleting the unwanted item(s). The links I posted show where the paths to the saved favorites folders are. If you can find them there, you can try deleting them there.

Remember, Edge is still in development and you are a beta tester for Microsoft. There may still be unfixed issues with Edge.

Hello all, sorted it, in Run typed %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\Favorites
Then deleted them there, there gone. Did a search on google, just alittle different then I.E.
