MSN Home Page Drops More Malware Via Malvertising
Malvertisers are once again abusing ad technology platform AdSpirit and exposing visitors of the MSN homepage to malware. These attacks appeared to have been primarily focused on Germans users via an ad for Lidl, one of the Germany’s leading supermarkets.

Thanks for the info. I don't ever visit that/those pages but I'm sure many do.

This is why I will continue to use some form of ad blocking software/plug-ins. Advertising is not monitored anything close to what it should be. (Not to mention how much more bandwidth is required for ads. I am on metered service and it all matters.)

You would be surprised by how much junk comes from ad servers.
Some of that stuff is right nasty.
Han sure has it right on the ad blocking software/plug-ins.
