Unless you rooted it, you'd need to do a factory reset to get rid of the RPC:S-7 error.

I joined a forum for the Toshiba tablet and they referred me to a Youtube video for upgrading to a newer android version. However, with the error I can't do it.
Provide the link to the video. The only upgrade would be from Toshiba directly. Otherwise, you'd need to flash a custom ROM.
