    PSU and Mobo Diagnostics

Hello all, long time no see!

I'm looking to invest in a power supply tester and possibly a motherboard diagnostic kit.

But I don't want to end up with something that is unreliable, so wondered if you guys have any recommendations on reliable makes/models that available in here in the UK.

    Many thanks in advance

You can use a Multimeter or a Power Supply Tester to test a power supply. Instructions here.

A P.H.D. PCI2 motherboard diagnostic tool runs about $995.00 (USD).

Thanks Doc, very much appreciated, and a good read from your links.

I've decided to go with a Thermaltake Dr Power II for PSU testing.

The mobo diagnostics will have to wait a while!
