[RESOLVED] Formatting A Hard Drive Installed In A Desktop
Is there any way to format a hard drive that is in a desktop computer and has a corrupt Windows 10 installed? The "restore" feature does not work. And I cannot format the drive as it says "You cannot format this volume".
Thanks

You cannot format the C: drive from within Windows. You must use a boot disc. How do you plan to reinstall Windows?

I was hoping to install Windows 7 ultimate 64 since that is the disks I have.

If that's the case, you would format the drive during the Win7 setup.
