    Resolved [RESOLVED] embarassement

Hello all, thought all would be well with win 10, it was till I maybe made a mess.

I was upgraded the other day.

I swictched my computer on today at 20:00 uk time. Windows updates as usual.

Allowed it to go through its updating for 18 mins till i thought it had finished because it came to a halt for awhile on a ease of access, internet monitor icon, and a shut down, restart, icon. So waited awhile, no change, so i restarted it by myself.

Now all I get is a that circle of balls etc going around all the time. Have turned it off and on and left it, no change.

What can I do to fix it please???

    Gep

There was a massive update that just came out.

You can try pressing Shift+F8 right after you power on the system and see if you can get into Recovery. It might automatically start recovery if Windows fails to boot. Then you can try doing a System Restore to a previous point.

hello Midknyte, had to Reset my computer, and keep files. No restore option.

    choose option to keep files.

I will have to re-install all my software programs, not looking forward to that.

Hope i have done the right thing??

    8% through at the moment.

    Thanks, gep
